Senior Vice President and Global Health Practice Director, HKS
Jason Schroer is Global Practice Director for the HKS Health Practice, where he leads, serves, and connects the international practice sector that operates in 21 of HKS’s 26 offices. He strives to have a positive impact on clients and the communities they serve by sharing research, best practices and creative thinking.
As a talented and aggressive young architect, Jason rapidly grew to lead one of the four major health design studios in Dallas before being asked to relocate to Houston to establish and grow a new Houston office for HKS. He quickly expanded this practice to thirty people with major project work in the Texas Medical Center for Baylor College of Medicine, St. Luke’s Medical Center and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Upon that accomplishment, he returned to Dallas to take on his current role of Health Practice Director for the firm as a whole. One of his strongest assets is his ability to lead and enable others to excel in their own right and talents, thereby achieving success for themselves as swell as himself.
Jason earned his Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University and his Master of Architecture in Health Facility Design from Clemson University.
