Grace Roebuck

Environmental & Community Health Research Scholar

Grace's love story with science-informed design began as a volunteer at the 2019 Conscious Cities Festival. Shortly thereafter, Grace became a research intern with The Human Metrics Lab and a Fellow with the Centre for Conscious Design (CCD). After graduating, Grace transitioned to Director of Fellowship and Operations at The CCD, where she helped build an international coalition of scientists, designers, and community advocates to advance the Conscious Cities Movement. Later in 2020, Grace joined the team at Johns Hopkins International Arts + Mind Lab as a Neuroaesthetic Research Assistant. Currently, Grace is an Environmental & Community Health Research Scholar with CADRE at HKS Architects.

Grace graduated from Vassar College in May of 2020 with a B.A. in Psychology and Studio Arts. Outside the classroom, Grace was heavily involved in anti-human trafficking and educational equity advocacy. Grace seeks to apply science to design and make those insights accessible across audiences. Outside of the office, Grace enjoys traveling, creating mail-order-toast, and board games.
